You know my drill in the number of smartphone launch events that I had. I took a chance to check out what the Oppo F1 has to offer for the PH mobile market.
Front: 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5 inch IPS HD display with 2.5D Glass and Gorilla Glass 4, Android capacitive buttons
Back: 13 MP rear cam with flash & f/2.2 aperture, Oppo logo, non removable back cover
Internals: ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 2,500 mAh built-in battery
Top: 3.5 mm. audio jack
Bottom: OTG capable micro USB port, pin hole mic
Left: Volume buttons
Right: Power/unlock button, optional dual SIM tray (SIM 1 as micro, SIM 2 as nano, can be also used as micro SD slot up to 128 GB)
Unfortunately, the device that I played during it's launch is not really at it's 100% potential so I took some of the key areas like the OTG function and more options on the pulldown menu including eye protection.
Both main and secondary cameras of this phone are on 4:3 aspect ratio and can shoot Full HD video. The normal camera settings that you saw in the latest Oppo phones are still there.
And the camera samples which can really has fast image processing speed. I had the selfie shot with beautify mode off. These pic were shot on low artifical light inside Trinoma

From what I got, the phone is quite easy navigate with it's form factor, 2.5D glass and light (in grams). I love the image processing speed of the camera. For me, looks like the front cam has doing the job better than the main camera.
Oppo F1 is now available in the country for Php 11,990
